The 100 most important cases in British Law?

Over at the The Times they have launched a wonderful archive of law reports from the newspapers long established court reporting section. The reports date back as far as 1785 and you can search the archived law reports here. They have every single court report for a 200 year period between 1785–1985; now that’s some database!

In order to highlight the service they have asked Gary Slapper director of The Centre for Law at the Open University to select what he believes to be the 100 most important cases in the archive. Visit the site and see if you agree with his choices.
