Michelle Jones of simplylawjobs.com has had the last laugh on a competitor who predicted her jobs website would fail within months.
Not only has she just celebrated the second anniversary of the business - simplylawjobs.com - but had the satisfaction of seeing it become one of the UK 's top three legal recruitment websites.
"In truth the 'you're going to fail' taunt made me even more determined to succeed," said Michelle who launched the business from a bedroom and now operates from serviced offices. "One of the delicious ironies is that, in terms of 'hits', we're now well ahead of the website run by the person who made that comment," she added.
Simplylawjobs.com carries more than 9,000 vacancies at every level in the legal sector. Vacancies range from support staff to qualified personnel within the legal profession and are accessed by a fast on-line search facility.
