Olswang has appointed David Farmer to the partnership expanding its Pensions practice.
Joining the Firm this week from Beachcroft LLP where he was also a Partner, David will head the Pensions Group. David brings widespread experience to Olswang with particular expertise in pensions advisory work and corporate support for clients in the retailing, outsourcing and financial services sectors, which firmly mirror sectors in which Olswang has a strong reputation.
Commenting on his appointment Tony Leifer, Corporate Partner at Olswang said, "We are delighted to welcome David to the partnership. With his considerable experience in all manner of pensions related work, coupled with his sector expertise, he is a perfect fit for Olswang."
The Pensions practice sits within Olswang's broader Corporate Group which continues to be acknowledged as a leading practice having this year already won M&A Law Firm of the Year at the M&A Awards 2008 in conjunction with M&A Magazine, and Corporate Team of the Year – Mid markets at The Lawyer Awards 2008.
