The Yorkshire Lawyer Awards: This Years Winners


Over 300 of the most talented legal professionals, their peers, mentors and supporters were recently wined and dined at the auspicious surroundings of Rudding Park, Harrogate.

The awards, now in their eighth year, have been renowned for offering peers the opportunity to shine a light on thoses who have provided outstanding or innovative services to the Yorkshire legal profession and their clients.

The Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year award went to Neil McLean, of DLA Piper LLP – an eminent lawyer for regeneration and real estate projects and a central figure in the Yorkshire legal community. The Leeds born lawyer was chosen due to his commitment and diligence to the profession and opening new doors for the younger generation.

Jackie Boole from Barker Brooks Media was pleased with the event : “The Yorkshire Lawyer Awards aren’t just a pat on the back, they represent real solidarity and pride amongst the region’s legal professionals."
